Eric Messer, the principal of Sunrise Building and Remodeling of Briarcliff Manor, was elected chair of the Remodelers Advisory Council (RAC).

Messer, a member of the BRI since 1987, has served on several sub-committees for the association. He has been a member of the BRI's Board of Trustees since 2002.

The RAC also elected Chuck Pateman of C.M. Pateman and Associates of Irvington as its vice chair. Pateman has served as a vice president of the BRI since 2002. A member of the BRI since 1997, Pateman has also been the chair of the BRI's Residential Builders Advisory Council (RBAC).
